Will provide technical leadership and directly participate in projects involving the design of components for aerospace fluid handling and utility applications, including electromechanical actuators (EMAs), valves, pumps, and switches. Will define and manage the scope of work, timelines, budgets and progress of multiple assigned projects; the coordination of project goals and tasks with engineering, finance, testing, quality, program management, and production support functions; design/drawing formulation and design calculations; solve technical problems in the lab or in the field; and review customer information, prepare quality document, estimate manufacturing time line/planning/verification/testing/validation.

Skills and Experience
Requires BSME with 10+ years experience in design/project engineering or management of electro-mechanical or fluid handling products with proven leadership of cross-functional teams. Candidate’s project engineering experience will include design and manufacturing of aerospace components. Must possess excellent communication skills, including listening to internal and external customers, providing clear direction for multiple projects and letter and technical report writing. Training and experience in project management and methods, including risk management, is required. Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and mechanical manufacturing and assembly processes is a must. Additional desirable attributes include training or experience in Value-Engineering, Pro/Engineer Wildfire capability, training or experience in Design for Manufacturing and Lean concepts, and a strong ability in mechanical, motion, or hydraulic analysis.
