Firth Rixson Forgings is revolutionizing our industry by building a new state-of-the-art jet engine disk manufacturing facility in Midway, GA (20 miles South of Savannah). In support of our vision, we are actively recruiting a Process Engineer-Metallurgist.
In this key role, you will provide technical support to manufacturing, quality and customer service in order to meet and exceed our customers’ requirements. Additionally, you will conduct investigations and perform root cause analysis on process related issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements :
Qualifications
· BS/MS in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering
· Understanding of properties in titanium and nickel based super alloys
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Strong project management and problem solving skills
