Job Description | We seek a Metallurgist to provide investigation, analysis, reports, and testimony where technical and scientific answers are needed to help resolve civil litigation and insurance claims involving personal injury and product liability analysis.
Expertise must include hands-on material failure experience including fracture and fatigue analysis, corrosion testing to ASTM and NACE standards, weld testing, coatings, creep rupture analysis, and testing to ASTM, ASME AWS ad API standards. Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment required including: pipes and pressure vessels, heat exchangers, compressors, boiler tubes, fasteners, machine guarding, lifting equipment and welded structures. In-depth knowledge of operational safety issues and manufacturing standards of care required.
This position is available immediately on a contract basis or full time basis in various locations nationwide including Pittsburgh, PA; Columbus, OH; Chicago, IL; Cedar Knolls, NJ; and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Job Requirements
Science or Engineering degree required
Graduate degree highly preferred
PE license is highly preferred
15+ years hands-on experience
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills
