| Job Description | Metallurgist
ATI Allegheny Ludlum produces and markets a wide range of specialty metals, including stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium to end use markets such as aerospace, power generation, automotive, and housing. We deliver exceptional products and services to customers around the world.
We are currently seeking a metallurgist to support the hot rolling operations fora new hot rolling and processing facility to be located at our Brackenridge, PA, facility located approximately 20 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
· Metallurgical scheduling and support of commissioning
· Reengineering to protect the integrity of the process
· Documenting quality results and hot rolling process training (material related)
· Assisting with technical reviews
· Evaluating metallurgical guarantees
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in metallurgy or material science
Minimum of 5 years of experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving/analytical thinking skills
