The work within the Hybridoma and Cell Culture Group focuses on the production of novel monoclonal antibodies developed for research purposes. As a team member of the Hybridoma and Cell Culture Group you will work within the Research and Development division of Rockland Immunochemicals Inc. You will be an important player and will have considerable hands on experience with cell culture, hybridoma production, screening of clones by ELISA and antibody purification and analysis. In addition to laboratory skills, you will utilize project management and communication skills working on multiple custom client projects.
Qualifications
• Detail oriented and thrive in a multi-faceted work environment
• Experience with cell culture techniques, hybridoma development, antibody purification, ELISA antibody screening, cell counting, isotyping, mycoplasma and endotoxin determinations are a plus
• Experience in immunological techniques
• Ability to organize and manage data relating to production activities.
• Ability to work and maintain strong relationships with department managers, members of your team and other departmental staff
• Strong professional communication and organizational skills necessary for interaction with staff, clients and scientific collaborators
• Must have ability to use MS Office applications
• Knowledge of QSR/cGMP guidelines or other good documentation processes is a plus
