Background
Product Manager Forward Looking Infrared (PM FLIR) is the product management office under the Program Manager Night Vision/RSTA responsible for providing infrared (IR) imaging sensors for DoD combat platforms. The goal of PM FLIR is to enable ""sensing beyond the visible"" to reveal threats that might otherwise remain unseen or blended into the environment. These technologies give soldiers the ability to see what is really around them and helps to protect them.
The successful candidate will serve as the Operations Manager for Product Manager Forward Looking Infrared (PM FLIR).
Requirements (include but are not limited to):
Manage the daily operations of PM FLIR to include action item tracking and status; operations scheduling and coordination;
Report generation;
Operations-related special studies and analysis.
Ensure that all PM FLIR action items are staffed and tracked through completion and follow up to ensure closure at source.
Provide Operational status and issues analysis to PM and Deputy PM.
Highly efficient in PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project.
Acquisition experience is desired.
Create and schedule a program of Officer’s Personal Development sessions.
Maintain knowledge management archive for PM FLIR via SharePoint. |
