Position Description
Job Summary:
This position is located in Anadarko's southwest Wyoming operations area with functional reporting out of our Rock Springs, WY office. Primary assigned working area will be in our Wamsutter Field located east of Rock Springs.

Qualifications:
? Minimum one (1) year related experience is required
? Experience in Hydrocarbon production to include artificial lift, water disposal and O/M of production facilities, preferred
? Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical principles
? Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
? Possess effective communication skills
? Possess computer skills, preferabbly related to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
? Ability to work outdoors, around heavy equipment and in adverse weather conditions
? Ability to work overtime as required and a rotating on-call schedule

Responsibilities:
? Enforce company, local, state and federal safety and environmental regulations and policies. Promote a safe working environment and work in a safe manner adhering to all safety practices, procedures and policies.
? Execute startup, shut down and normal operations of compressors, electric motors, pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms.
? Provide daily estimates of water Injection volumes in comparison with actual deliveries, identifying production problems which may be related to equipment problems, leaks or spills, theft or changing salt water disposal (SWD) conditions.
? Operate and maintain various equipment associated with producing an oil or gas well, including but not limited to wellheads, artificial lift systems, well-head compression, separators, burners and heat trace, chemical pumps, meters, sand traps, etc.
? Accurately read and interpret technical data pertaining to the operation of equipment in the field including, but not limited to, operating and shutdown procedures, vendor manuals and process flow diagrams.
? Use pump control automation to effectively optimize well operation and maximize production of gas/condensate.
? Gather production information by gauging water tanks, interpreting production data and calculating gas volumes. Enter data into production spreadsheets and/or the corporate production database.
? Perform tests and interpret results on product samples and makes necessary adjustments to maintain product integrity with specified tolerances.
? Evaluate daily production estimates to identify production shortfalls that may be related to equipment problems, leaks or spills, theft, or changing well conditions.
? Witness sale of condensate and verify accurate measurement in the transfer of product to truck.
? Check equipment to ensure operating efficiency and integrity to include the examination of well casings, wellheads, pressure piping, pressure vessels, liquid storage facilities, and other production equipment.
? Perform minor repairs on pipefittings, line leaks, chemical pumps, dump valves, and float and pressure controllers as necessary.
? Prepare maintenance orders and notify maintenance personnel of problem areas. May assist maintenance personnel in major equipment maintenance/repairs as appropriate.
? Manage operating and maintenance expenditures and participate in budget and production forecasts
? Engage in cross training to different disciplines such as construction, well completions, automation, etc. as assigned.
? Oversee contract personnel and well service companies during routine maintenance and other activity in assigned area.
? Perform good housekeeping duties as required in assigned work area.
? Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with Anadarko's Core Values.

Education:
? High school diploma or equivalent is required
? Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience

Certifications/Licenses:
Valid U.S. driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required

Work Schedule:
Standard is Mon-Fri 8-hour day shift, with rotating weekend coverage.
