Simmons Pet Food is the leading North American private-label/contract manufacturer of wet pet food products sold by supermarket retailers, mass merchandisers, pet specialty retailers and other retail and wholesale outlets and currently produces more than one billion containers per year. Simmons Foods Home Office is located in Siloam Springs, AR.
At Menu Foods Midwest, a PLC Controls Technician’s primary responsibilities will be to perform routine work assignments and troubleshooting in the following disciplines:
•Instrumentation
•Packaging and process Control’s
•Allen Bradley - PLC, Control Logix, Device Net, and Panel View knowledge
•Programming and diagnostics of PLC’s and all ancillary equipment
•Electronic equipment (complex troubleshooting), (f) Electrical 480V 3 phase
•24vdc Control equipment (troubleshooting)
Education and Training Requirements:
•Completion of an accredited industrial electrical and or electronics training program is required.
•An Associates or Bachelor’s degree is desirable.

The person hired into this position will be required to live in the Emporia, Kansas, area, and acknowledge that they may be required to work any day of the week with flexible and varied hours, based on the needs of the operation. |
