| Job Description | SKW is seeking a Pipeline Corrosion Technician to work from our North Kansas City, MO office on natural gas and liquid pipeline projects nationwide. Responsibilities will include pipeline survey, mitigation, cathodic protection troubleshooting, corrosion analysis, construction inspection, and project planning.
The successful candidate will be expected to understand cathodic protection behavior, indirect assessment techniques including ECDA, and direct examination tests.
Requirements include 5 or more years of experience with natural gas and/or liquid pipelines, NACE CP2 Cathodic Protection Technician certification or higher, and a solid knowledge of MS Excel. Extensive field work and travel may be required. The selected candidate will be required to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Project management and crew supervisory experience is preferred.
