Principal Corrosion and Integrity Engineer

Due to ongoing expansion throughout the Americas, we require the services of additional personnel to support this growth in the USA. WGIM has an immediate opening for a Principal
Corrosion and Integrity Engineer.

This Engineer will act as the owner's
agent and will be responsible for a variety of task:



Authorize reports for issue

Supervise staff and allocate work to engineers

Maintain reimbursability

Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Management reports

Business development

Fostering goodwill amongst IONIK's Clients

Authorize issue of proposals

Compliance with the company's

Quality and HSE policies

Achieve company goals / personal

KPI's

Have involvement with industry associations and academic institutions


Successful Candidates will possess and
demonstrate the following working knowledge:



Comprehensive understanding of gas/fluid stream chemistry and related corrosivity from wellhead to export facilities

Material selection

Knowledge of corrosion mitigation measures for topsides and subsea facilities

Material degradation mechanisms

Production of chemistry as related to corrosion control mitigation measures

Corrosion management – Inspection and monitoring techniques

Understanding and working business awareness for the development and applications of innovative solutions in these areas of technology is helpful

The ability to effectively analyze data and represent recommendations to peers and management

Ability to both initiate and progress multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Ability to work effectively across technology functions and within multi-disciplinary teams

Strong networking and influencing skills to capture knowledge and best practice from other operations

PE and NACE certification is a
plus




Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering is required.
