ImmunoGen is seeking a highly qualified team player to join the Bioassay group and supervise more junior research associates. Primary responsibilities will include the development and implementation of cell based and immunochemical assays to be used to support product development of antibody-conjugate cancer therapeutics from late research through clinical testing and licensure.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop GMP compliant assays with appropriate robustness for use in evaluating potency and stability of clinical material during process and formulation development and product lot release
Provide support to Process Development
Determine performance criteria to aid in the establishment of release specifications
Qualify and transfer assays to the Quality Control group
Develop quality assays for use in evaluating clinical samples to establish pharmacokinetics and potential pharmacological and biometric response parameters in treatment in humans with naked antibody immunoconjugates
Prepare written and oral reports
Requirements:
A PhD in a biological science with at least one year of relevant experience, or a Bachelors or Masters in Biology or Biochemistry related field with 8-10 years relevant experience.
Ability to work within a multifunctional team and interact with diverse groups such as Cell
Biology, Clinical Pharmacology, Process Sciences, Analytical and Quality Control Groups
Experience in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, cell based cytoxicity and/or functional assays
Strong written and verbal communications skills, collaborative skills, time management and organization is required
Supervisory experience is highly desirable |
