We are seeking a Process Development Engineer to work in the downstream purification area of the Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development (PMPD) group. This person will specialize in the development, performance verification, and implementation of a variety of analytical assays to support both upstream (cell culture optimization and bioreactor pilot production) and downstream purification development efforts, and will play an integral role in the characterization of preclinical and clinical processes for therapeutic candidates.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering and 2-5 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of and experience with H/UPLC and ELISA are required. Experience with automated liquid handlers is preferred.
