An exciting career opportunity exists at our Windsor Airmotive Division for an experienced Process Engineer with a solid background in Engineering who enjoys a diverse, fast-paced work environment. If you are a detail-oriented, hands-on individual that prefers to be on the shop floor resolving issues, this position may be of special interest to you.

Required Skills
Core Responsibilities:

Review deviations and apply fundamental engineering principles to solve technical problems under the direction of a senior engineer

Apply standard manufacturing techniques

Support shop floor through interpretation of repair requirements

Develop new repair techniques to reduce shop floor hours and improve throughput.

Support shop with special processes such as, GTAW/Heat Treatment/Plasma /Water Jet Strip

Assist in review of work instructions for adherence to regulatory requirements.

Participate in Root Cause Corrective action process to investigate internal and external warrantees

Mentor/Train shop floor personnel on repair techniques.

Strong analytical thinking skills; the ability to think outside the box to apply new repair techniques/concepts

Hands on interaction with shop floor


Required Experience
Qualification:

One to three years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in an overhaul and repair engineering environment.

Strong verbal and communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to work with team environment.

Strong computer skills; proficiency in AUTO CAD required.

6S/CI experience a plus

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in related engineering discipline
