The Requirements
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

A bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and the ability to develop professional knowledge and capabilities, including becoming familiar with BioPolymer technologies and applications.

Five to ten years of process engineering experience, ideally in chemical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing.

Familiarity with batch and continuous processes, powder handling, and sifting and screening.
The ability to:

Apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations;

Apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis;

Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; and

Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Good computer skills, including proficiency in programs such as email and Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with SAP is preferred.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities.

Strong self-motivation, a goal orientation and thorough execution with a focus on making measurable impact.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be effective independently, collaboratively, and in leadership roles.

The ability to effectively interact with and influence various levels of the organization with a demonstrated attitude of respect toward all others.
