| Job Description | JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will take an active role in nearly all aspects of the particleboard manufacturing operation, including taking a lead role on projects and analysis pertaining to process improvement efforts. Additional responsibilities include development, maintenance and training for plant reporting and business metrics systems. This position will work closely with the Quality Assurance, Production, Finishing, Shipping, Process Control and Accounting departments. This position reports to the Technical Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or engineering is preferred or 3-5 years of experience. Strong statistical, technical, and analytical skills, experience using Minitab (or similar statistical software) and in Visual Basic programming within Microsoft Access and other Microsoft Office products. Experience developing in Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL server, MySQL or similar database server environment are also preferred. Experience in use of GE Fanuc Proficy, Historian and iFIX systems are a plus. |
