The Process Engineer is responsible for oversight of the production process(es) to which they are assigned, including daily process monitoring, process improvement, implementation and review of SOP's for production environment and troubleshooting. He or she will also be responsible for coordinating projects with counterparts in other sites as well as the Testing and Validation group.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Process Engineer is responsible for oversight of the production process(es) to which they are assigned. This includes daily process monitoring, process improvement, implementation and review of SOPs for production environment, and troubleshooting. In addition, the successful incumbent is responsible for coordinating projects as assigned with counterparts in other production sites as well as the Testing and Validation group.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures stable and efficient production of dental prosthetic products utilizing different machine types, technologies, and processes.

Perform project engineering tasks including implementation and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) of new production processes and workflows

Create and train production employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Supply technical support for quality or manufacturing issues.

Support and contribute to continuous improvement activities (""Kaizen"")

Demonstrate ""can-do"" approach and dedication to solve equipment and process issues to keep the machines and production lines in full service

Support Senior Engineers and management on various projects

Travel to off-site facilities and co-travel with department members or external employees to participate in NBC programs for support or training activities



QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum B. S. degree in Engineering

Experience with CNC milling machines, 3 and 5 axis milling preferably

Relevant work experience of minimum 3 years

Past experience in the medical device industry

Knowledge of ceramic materials

Preferred knowledge of CAD/CAM (""DELCAM"")

Experience working in an FDA regulated or ISO environment

Confident in working with latest /state-of-the-art technology

Preferred computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, Lotus Notes)

Experience in Six Sigma, Lean, SPC etc. is a plus

Team player and reliable

Ability to learn on and off the job

Sound analytic skills and reasoning ability

Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Willingness to travel according to business demands

Willingness to work overtime according to business needsý
