Process Engineer
We seek an experienced individual with a BS in Engineering and 3 – 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in paper, film or web-handling processes. Responsibilities include analyzing manufacturing equipment and process methods for ways to improve performance, productivity, process, and operational excellence. Proven success implementing continuous improvement manufacturing programs using advanced techniques is required.
In addition, you will be expected to lead Equipment / System modifications, Process & Continuous improvement teams, as well as supporting key capital projects through start-up, standardization, and sustainment. Demonstrated training and proficiency in statistical problem solving methodology and tools are also required. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Must also have a working knowledge of PC based applications, optimization, technical support and training of shop floor employees. A high degree of self motivation, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or in team settings is essential.
