In this role, you will serve as the focal point for development and optimization of process equipment in an FDA regulated environment. In addition, you will be responsible for documentation of design specifications, process requirements, process validation, process testing and implementation for new and existing process machinery. Additionally, you will provide maintenance engineering support for plant operations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Develops thorough understanding of assigned processes.
§ Identifies and evaluates opportunities for process and facility improvement.
§ Provides project scope, design, cost estimation, construction management, start-up and validation detail for equipment and systems.
§ Secures project funding through capital and expenses plans and updates.
§ Implements improvements on schedule and budget.
§ Provides engineering service for issues arising in existing processes.
§ Coordinates and provides technical leadership for corporate engineering resources.
Skills/Experience Education/Certification Skills/Experience/Education
You must possess:
§ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
§ Four years industrial experience or at least ten years developing manufacturing equipment
§ Experience working in a Pharmaceutical plant developing equipment and processes
§ Expeirnece in PLC programming and ACAD is required.
§ SolidWorks experience is desirable
