| | Job Description |  | Principle Duties and Responsibilities 
 Develop, evaluate, improve and document manufacturing processes for engine assembly and test using Oracle system
 
 Attending Engineering change order meetings
 
 Update engineer change Orders (ECO) on processes and work in process jobs in the plant.
 
 Attend major contract meetings for development of processes, tooling, fixtures, setups and schedules.
 
 Attend quality meetings to support nuclear and military specifications for processing hold point to meet customer requirements.
 
 Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput
 
 Review manufacturing work bench for needed methods and CNC programming for customer engine orders and aftermarket requirement.
 
 Confer with vendors in determining product specifications and arranging equipment, parts, or material purchase, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications.
 
 Estimate manufacturing time requirements to produce engine parts and provide data of costing
 
 Determine standards for fabrication, machining, assembly of products for all engine parts.
 
 Provide process for heat treat, shot blast, and painting requirements
 
 Create and maintain accurate documentation of tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders, and concepts in accordance with the R&D and quality assurance functions.
 
 Perform time studies to assure accuracy of standards
 
 Provide support in production departments to troubleshoot and resolve production problems on parts written up for nonconformance reports (NCR’s)
 
 Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, environmental safety and health regulations and manufacturing practices in providing a safe work environment
 
 Required Skills
 
 A B.S. degree in engineering or other manufacturing-related curriculum or equivalent experience is required.
 
 Experience in one or more of the following areas is required: fabrication/welding, CNC machining, grinding, assembly, engine testing, painting processes, heating treat, and familiarity with a variety of types of bar stock, plate, and metals
 
 Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Projects.  Experience working with an ERP system such as Oracle is desired.  Experience in Cimlinc, Solid Works and/or Esprit are a requirement.
