Desired Education/Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree.
Engineering background with experience in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Heat/Mass transfer.
Experience in manufacturing setting.
Process engineering experience from a different die cast company if limited Engineering experience.
Automotive and Die Cast experience a plus.
Self-motivated, problem solving skills, works well with minimal direction.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and provide statistical analysis of process parameters including trends, statistically significant changes to the process inputs and interaction resultants for maintaining quality levels.
Continuous improvement for best practices using lessons learned.
Assist in design of initial die cast parameters.
Assist in development of PFMEA, control plan, process setup, check sheets and LPA’s to assure that the process failure modes have redundant quality system and product audits to assure zero defects.
Assist in development of the process engineering controls system including data/document control and corrective action.
Assist in continuous development of new technology to differentiate Nemak in quality, delivery and cost.
