Job Summary:
Support the product development process by assisting the program teams as necessary to ensure successful product launches. Support part design review process with program teams. Aid in the design of tooling that exhibits World Class Performance. Establish injection molding process for each tool. Sign off of part cosmetics and dimensionals from design to processing and manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the product development process as an advisor to the design process, driving technical solutions to support manufacturing World-Class injection mold designs. Support the product development process by coordinating and controlling all cost, delivery and quality objectives for the design, construction and validation of injection molds. Improve standards for tooling with individual toolmakers to promote problem free designs. Responsibilities include from design concept and processing through the manufacturing process.
Experience / Expérience : Minimum of 5 – 8 years experience as an injection molding engineer for the design, construction, processing and validation of injection molds. Extensive familiarity with plastic processing and manufacturing practices. Understanding of injection mold processing using a wide variety of engineering grade plastics. Ability to evaluate molding and tooling problems for best solutions. Ability to ma
