Provide prints and Engineering support for launching new product.
Assist with evaluation and startup of new tooling and equipment.
Work with PD&R to provide information for fabrication and assembly methods.
Ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) integrity and accuracy for production units and repair parts.
Communicate with various work groups to ensure needs are being met and projects are on track.
Process ECN's and deviations as well as Print Release memos.
Communicate effectively with other Engineers and disciplines locally and remotely.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
0-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes needed. Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing processes and systems.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently a must.
Must have good analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Work well individually and in team setting.
Ability to read and understand routings and BOM's preferred.
Experience in Lean mfg techniques preferred.
Experience in fixture & tool design preferred.
Knowledge and skill utilizing Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). Ability to use Pro-E and SAP a plus. |
