Product Manager

Job Description
Clairmail is looking for a Product Manager capable of enabling a world-wide change in customer interaction through Mobile technology. Clairmail delivers a complete, enterprise-ready mobile banking solution that introduces an entirely new communication channel between Financial Institutions and their consumers. Unlike traditional solutions which merely provide a ""veneer"" for Online Banking, Clairmail empowers FIs to leverage the real-time and actionable nature of the mobile phone to take command of their customer interactions. Clairmail enables FIs to lower costs, enhance acquisition, improve retention, reduce fraud and increase offer acceptance.

The Product Manager will report directly to Clairmail's Director of Product Management.

Key responsibilities include:

Collect, analyze, and document functional and technical software requirements
Lead brainstorming/product design meetings

Develop a clear and compelling case for all projects by creating and gaining a consensus for all business and product requirements documentation

Lead cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, taking complete ownership of planning, execution, and delivery.

Provide guidance and assistance to the development team by prioritizing ongoing change requests, feature requests, and bugs.

Work closely with project teams and directly with customers and partners to ensure that product capabilities meet the needs of the marketplace.

Development and communication of current and planned product release plans to all areas within the organization, and to external stakeholders.

Meet regularly with all internal and external stakeholders.

Expertise:

Demonstrated experience working with Software Architects, Developers, and QA Engineers.

Must possess exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and have experience applying
these skills to resolve issues.

Must possess strong understanding of business principles, the financial drivers, and their impact on the bottom line.

Must possess an understanding of various technical foundations and have significant exposure to system development and full product life-cycle methodologies.

Proficient communicator in terms of both verbal and written communications. Note that candidate will be expected to present sample work-products during the interview process.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand their impact on the target market.

Self-Starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

3-5 years of progressive experience in Business Analysis or Product Management.

BA/ BS preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.

Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent written communication skills.

Strong leadership and influencing ability.

Experience in Financial Services or mobile would be a strong advantage
