Product Manager, Clinical Therapies

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

Manage product development, positioning and market introduction of new woundcare device.
Develop product plan to include requirements for development, engineering, technical, quality, legal, supply chain, regulatory, and manufacturing needs to ensure successful commercialization.
Develop and implement three year and annual Business Plan. Execute commercial plan to achieve sales and profit targets.
Create process to incorporate Customer Insights (Voice of Customer) to align product development and product enhancement goals with customer needs.
Provide market data analysis to support current and future customer trends across the continuum of care.
Develop strategies for all market segments and develop and implement strategies to increase market share while achieving profit objectives.
Interface with manufacturing, sales, distribution, engineering and customer service to provide business direction and support.
Develop appropriate sales support and clinical marketing materials.
Lead promotional activities including attendance at tradeshows, educational conferences and clinical symposia to support product launch.
Develop pricing programs to maximize both Sales and Rental revenues.
Manage monthly sales forecast.
Cultivate a team environment that values diversity and uses various individual’s strengths to the benefit of the team. Adopt collaborative approaches with cross functional teams.
Work with Global Category Management teams as appropriate.
Additional responsibilities as requested or required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of marketing/product management experience. Previous medical device experience is essential.
Experienced in selling and/or marketing to clinical decision makers.
Ability to grasp technical concepts and convey direction to team members.
Strong analytical skills
Ability to conceptualize product ideas to engineering.
Strategic and tactical planning experience required.
Motivated, self-starter, independent, results oriented and professional.
Business experience and exposure to all phases of the business including marketing, sales, engineering, manufacturing and finance.
Proficient in IBM compatible software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
