Responsible for establishing an efficient process that encompasses creating, storing, and updating a large dataset leveraging medical, drug, eligibility, and disability data. Direct all activities associated with database creation, data quality review, data governance, new analytic products as well as product enhancements. Additionally, conceptualize, research, target, develop, test and roll-out enhancements for a data-based clinical reporting application. Work with internal or external business constituents to determine product future direction and respond to product inquiries. Manage multiple and/or complex project plans to ensure that development initiatives stay on course and on time.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program leadership for clinical reporting tool to ensure day-to-day tactical activities as well as setting product direction and communication to key stakeholders

Establish a process for benchmarking data that supports the business needs of product management and account management as well as customized extracts for external sales

Orchestrate data acquisition from external sources and coordinate internal sources to be included in normative dataset.

Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure that data extracts meet minimum use and are HIPAA compliant.

Conduct research to qualify product development ideas and quantify new business opportunities.

Create and manage project plans and manage resources for multiple initiatives.

Organize and lead multi-departmental work teams to design and implement new products.

Work with functional leaders to design cost and pricing models that maximize sales and marketing potential of the product.

Package products by conducting industry and customer surveys and/or focus groups to evaluate product design, positioning and price.

Work with marketing and sales to develop collateral materials, as well as launch strategy and marketing communications plan.

Train sales and account management staff in the specifics of the product offerings and keep them informed of new developments and enhancements.


Qualifications

Minimum 7 years experience managing large projects and/or leading development projects within matrix organization.

Proven success qualifying product opportunities, targeting markets, and designing viable programs, particularly in healthcare industry.

Excellent team leadership and project management skills.

Exemplary communication and organization skills.

High energy, detail-oriented and creative individual that can think strategically and act tactically.

A Bachelors degree with 7-10 years of actuarial, underwriting, or statistics, or health care analytics preferred. Masters in related field a plus.
