The Director of Product Management will be the visionary behind DegreeTree’s product strategy and execution, setting the strategic vision and leading the execution on new features and products. This is an important and strategic role within our company, and we are looking for the right entrepreneur to help us advance this business. The Director of Product Management will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and working closely with our technology development team to evolve a remarkable international product.
The Director of Product Management is expected to:
•Lead our internal process to define the product strategy, roadmap and priorities
•Display ruthless passion for consumer experience
•Use a test, read, roll metric focus to inform business decisions and guide test strategies
•Develop requirements documents and use cases for new product features
•End to end project management of in development initiatives in an Agile workplace
•Monitor the status of development projects supporting new features
•Conduct business-level verification and market testing of new features
•Become an expert on other products in the marketplace
Requirements
Desired experience and expertise:
•Experience as a Product Manager for Online Companies, specifically focusing on consumer acquisition
•Experience with agile development processes and monthly or weekly product release cycles
•Experience with web analytics, A/B testing, and Multivariate Testing
•A Passion for web-based software products
•Focused, metrics driven, no barriers entrepreneurial, startup attitude
•Ability to manage cross-functional teams to bring a product from conception to market
•Bachelor's degree (MBA or other Master's preferred)…or incredible work experience in a successful internet start-up
