Position Summary: This position is responsible for the strategy, execution, business results and P&L for the US GEC business - including one of Bausch and Lomb's largest brands.Specific Job Duties: Development of 5-3-1 strategic plan and annual operating plans for the US GEC portfolio Delivery of top line sales and bottom line earnings for the portfolio. Development of all revenue and marketing expense forecasts Developing and executing new product launch strategies and plans for the US market Development and execution of marketing strategies and initiatives and for both the consumer and Eye Care practitioner Leads advertising and communications strategy for the US market based on informed customer and consumer insights. Possesses a comprehensive understanding of strategic aspects of the communications mix including consumer advertising, direct marketing, web, print and on-line/new media. Responsible for aligning the US Marketing & Sales teams accordingly to achieve revenue and growth objectives for the GEC product portfolio. - Works in close partnership with cross functional partners including Customer Marketing, Market Research, Finance, Operations, Global, R&D, Customer Service, Finance and Human Resources to meet timelines and achieve business results Identification and exploitation of consumer and competitive insights Work directly with global strategy, R&D, Medical and Operations to develop product claims to enhance product appeal to practitioners and consumers and recommend future products. Oversees measures and metrics for brand effectiveness programs and initiatives, including success tracking criteria. Tracks and shares successes against best practices with global franchise team and other regional partners Key member of US marketing leadership team Development of direct reports - Representation of U.S. interests concerning the product portfolio by assuming the key contact role with the global franchise team, manufacturing, clinical & regulatory affairs and legal Contributes to B+L's transformation to a world class, high performing, customer driven organization, bringing strong marketing and leadership fundamentals and a passion to create constructive change.

Requires demonstrated track record and experience in driving profitable growth on existing products and leading product development through commercialization for new products. - This position requires a highly motivated, intelligent individual with strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. - The individual must possess a keen marketing/customer curiosity and the strong leadership skills to pursue each project with enthusiasm and passion. - Good communications skills, an ability to work effectively cross-functionally, and the ability to manage several priorities are crucial. - P&L management skills. He/she must become knowledgeable about the industry and customers to make decisions and drive teams in all areas of the business. 5-7+ years of consumer health, consumer packaged goods marketing experience required. Experience managing direct reports Brand management; strong background in planning, forecasting, and managing financial information required. Demonstrable evidence of growing brands. Experience in successfully launching innovation into marketplace. Consumer advertising experience. Effectively deliver executive presentations to senior management. Ability to travel requires attendance at business meetings, industry meetings or working with key customers. Anticipated travel: 10-15% MBA preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
