Job Description
This position reports to the Business Banking Deposit Product Group Manager and manages the overall experience and profitability of the analyzed business checking product line by simplifying the product line and growing the related checking account volumes, balances, and fee-based income through product development and portfolio management.
The individual must develop and maintain strong partnerships and programs with the following key partners and teams:
Business Banking Finance Group
Business Banking Payments Product Group
Treasury Sales & Service
Commercial Bank
This person regularly consults with all levels of management, including executive management, and partners with professionals in other Retail/Business Banking functional areas in the Bank (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Training/Education, Legal/Compliance, Risk) to drive initiatives that impact the performance of our analyzed business checking products.
Job Duties
The Analyzed Business Checking Product Manager is responsible for:
Providing subject matter expertise on the analyzed business checking products, features, functionality and pricing
Simplifying the product lines including pricing/fee structure to make it easy for customers and bankers to understand and communicate
Understanding key competitors' related product, package, and promotional offerings and monitoring changes and new developments in those offerings
Understanding customer needs and opportunities
Discovery and development of advanced or innovative features and functionality
Leading product strategy
Executing product modifications and new product development (and related pricing)
Interacting with program offices and systems teams to ensure successful delivery of requested enhancements
Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to think strategically, implement tactically, and work across large cross functional teams in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
The candidate must have knowledge of the financial services industry and operations, sales, products, policies and procedures; be proficient in use of PC applications; have strong interpersonal and communication skills; have strong presentation / facilitation skills, and be comfortable and confident with making presentations to all levels.
Bachelor's degree required, MBA Preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of general banking experience, with at least 4 years in Product Management, and/or Deposit or Finance experience preferred.
