The AREVA Reactors & Services Business Group:

The Reactors and Services Business Group combines the nuclear reactor design and construction activities and the products and services activities necessary for the maintenance, operation, modernization, and improvement of power plants. It also includes vessel propulsion nuclear reactor and research reactor activities. AREVA is currently constructing four EPR™ reactors, of generation III+.

The IBLGS-A Organization:

The IBLGS-A Organization is responsible for the marketing and sales models for delivering the IBL-A engineering services and products to the nuclear customers. This organization develops and maintains sales plans/sales goals to meet the business needs of the IBL-A organization.

Job Description:

AREVA is seeking a Product Manager for our IBLGS-A Organization. The Product Manager for I&C and Electrical System Products (IBL) reports to the Area Sales Manager for IBL and is responsible for managing the sales activities for their assigned customers and their assigned IBL Products/Services.

Responsibilities and duties include:
Serve as a sales lead that is responsible for all commercial aspects related to tendering, negotiations and subsequent closing of contracts.
Work closely with the IBL Business Line (BL) who is ultimately responsible for profitability.
Contribute to the Installed Base business global customer strategy.
Maintain and manage customer relationships on BL sales or multi-BL sales for integrated offers, working closely with the KAMs.
Provide market and competitor analysis and market price evaluations for individual proposals.
Develop value propositions and pricing recommendations.
Manages the bid review and approval process for specific offers.
Develop contract negotiation plans in cooperation with the Area Sales Manager for IBL, the Global Sales Manager for IBL, and the Business line, and assist or lead the negotiations.
Develop and communicate marketing strategy, customer messages and advertising campaigns, in conjunction with Marketing and the KAMs.
Be responsible for the business development process for long term positioning, opportunity assessment, capture strategy, proposal planning and development, and opportunity closing.
Develop framework agreements and contract terms and conditions in conjunction with the BL.
Oversee the bid proposal manager to meet profitability requirements, risk analysis and costing targets for their customers.
Defines and develops new product opportunities and prepares business strategy.
Makes sales presentations to customers and negotiates scope and conditions.
Responsible to obtain committed Order Entry and Margin targets.
Determines customer requirements, evaluates potential products, develops and implements plans for products and engineering services to meet customer requirements.
Perform discovery and trips to the customer prior to the issuance of an RFQ.
Develops business cases to help promote products and services.

Qualifications

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
BS in Engineering or Science or Business plus 6 years experience related work experience. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience. An additional 5 years of related work experience may be considered equivalent to the BS degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
The following requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.
Past work experience at a nuclear plant is desired.
Past experience with I&C and Electrical Engineering, electrical distribution products, VFDs, I&C digital controls, and monitoring equipment.
