We’re looking for an energetic Product Manager to join our growing team in Lisle, IL.
Job Description:
The Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for Gladson’s Content products, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning, and will ensure products align with and support the company's overall strategy.
Primary Duties:
Define offerings for target market segments and manage the execution of the offering from launch through maturity.
Document and maintain the offering specifications including license terms, deliverables and pricing
Collaborate with members of the marketing and sales teams to identify target customer segments, positioning and value propositions
Manage proof of concept programs for new offerings and features
Work closely with Software Development, Production and IT to deliver required features and capabilities for each offering
Prepare, in collaboration with Marketing and Sales management, sales briefings and supporting materials
Contribute to market, industry and competitive analysis
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field
Working knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry
Two or more years of demonstrated experience as a product manager or product marketing manager with a particular preference to candidates with experience working with technical products or information services
Strong program management skills with the ability to maintain progress in an environment with dynamic implementation schedules and business priorities
Proven ability to deliver successfully in a growing, entrepreneurial business
Strong written and verbal communication skills
