Tetra Pak Processing North America has an opening for a Product Manager Mixing Technology, located in their Vernon Hills, Illinois location.
Overview of Position:
Define, recommend, establish, communicate and implement the strategy for the North American cluster (Canada, USA and Mexico).
Provide sales & technical support to the Tetra Pak organization.
Responsible for development and delivery of budgeted sales volumes and sales margins.
Demonstrate the value of our Mixing Technology (branded Tetra Almix) through technical discussions and customer trials, utilizing their deep knowledge of Food Processing
Technology and/or Food Science.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer visits and trials.
Provide sales & technical support to the Tetra Pak organization.
Proposal preparation and presentation, specifying, engineering solutions
Strategic plan formulation and execution
Working with engineering department, ensuring project is executed per customer expectations.
Training of sales channels.
Liaison with product company (Tetra Pak Scanima - Tetra Pak's Mixing Technology Center) to address technical and commercial opportunities.
Qualifications
Proven ability to apply food production knowledge
Hands on experience working with and operating pilot type equipment preferred
Experience working directly with processors (customers) preferred
Bachelor's Degree Required/Food Science/Engineering
5 - 7 years of experience
Travel: 25% - 40%
