Opportunity Profile:
Dey Pharma, a subsidiary of Mylan, is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development, manufacturing and marketing of prescription drug products for the treatment of respiratory diseases, severe allergic reactions and psychiatric disorders. The Product Manager on EpiPen will work as a key member of the EpiPen Brand Team focused on important strategic and tactical initiatives focused on expansion of the EpiPen business within the severe allergy market. The EpiPen Brand is the successful flagship brand for Dey, with plenty of growth opportunity and corporate focus. Specifically, this Brand Manager will work with other Brand Team members, support functions, and field-based team members to provide successful execution of professional and consumer initiatives to grow the EpiPen business.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Leads the development of the branding platform including; core marketing strategies, product positioning, pricing, training, market research, public affairs, publications, medical education, and opinion leader development.

Facilitates medical strategies for product/portfolio that are consistent with marketing strategies.

Collaborates and builds consensus among Dey Pharma functional areas relative to product strategies, initiatives, and commercial development.

Guides commercial and research activities to maximize revenue and product development.

Develops and maintains strong relationships with other functional areas (i.e., Sales, Managed Markets, Sales Training, Clinical and Discovery, Outcomes Research, Regulatory, Legal,
Market Research, Licensing, and Commercial/Marketing Operations) and through those relationships, advances product or portfolio opportunities.

Develops and manages strong sustainable relationships with external constituents (i.e. key opinion leaders, advisors, and agencies).

Participates in the development of strategies that will contribute to long-term growth for the franchise.


Qualifications:

BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
5-8+ years experience in product management/marketing experience.
Pharmaceutical marketing and sales a plus.
Supervisory experience a plus.
Superior platform/presentation skills.
Effective interpersonal and negotiations skills.
Excellent project management expertise and budgeting skills.
Demonstrate strong bottom-line orientation with significant financial, budget and P&L experience.
Strong leadership skills, strong interpersonal and people management skills.
Preference for action versus reaction, ability to focus on important drivers of business versus tangents, strategic thinking skills and ability to present to and motivate large audiences.
Capability for future career growth important.
