This position is accountable for managing the full lifecycle of solutions in the Pitney Bowes International Services (PBIS), International Parcel Service product portfolio including product line planning, development of a product roadmap, new product development, product rollout, active and end-of-life product management. The primary accountability of this position is for achievement of Pitney Bowes International Services strategic and financial goals through the effective management of our product solutions, including goals for revenue, profitability, customer value, and global market presence.

Each product manager works closely within the PBIS team to evaluate opportunities and execute product strategies to meet our goals. The product manager interfaces daily with partners, marketing, sales, operations, finance, IT, commercial services, and others.

Accountabilities:Product Planning: Establish a product line roadmap for our markets spanning a 3-year horizon.

Product Line Management: Manage product lifecycle and total solution performance including decisions on ceasing sales and product obsolescence.

New Product Development: Lead new product development and introduction of new solutions for the assigned segments, which drive revenue against budget, and profitable growth for PBIS.

Investment Planning: Develop an annual investment plan for the product portfolio, including a resource plan.

Key Measures: Key revenue and profitability measures meet or exceed those defined in the new product development business cases.

Timely execution of assigned projects, effectiveness of decision making on product lifecycle and active products, quality of partnerships with cross-BU teams.

Scope/Dimensions of Job:Significant accountability for financial analysis. The incumbent must make decisions for Pitney Bowes that balance the objectives of a global market with the potential financial outcome, and the resource allocation required to meet the Company's objectives.

Significant authority to recommend new courses of action required for overall Pitney Bowes International Services success. The incumbent will assist in planning the Pitney Bowes

International Services future, which will require negotiation skills, disciplined use of business cases, problem analysis, creative thinking, organizational and product knowledge, and solid judgment.

Typical sources of support in meeting problems or challenges include experienced management and subject matter experts in Marketing, IT, Operations, Sales, and Commercial Services.

Principal Managerial Contacts: Director of Product Management, Director/VP of PM & Commercial Services, VP/GM of each IMS processing site, VP & Director Sales.

This position requires a unique blend of problem solving skills, high creativity, and financial acumen. It also requires strong project management capabilities and a demonstrated ability to work independently.

Work experience in new product launch planning and execution required.

Work experience in e-commerce, Parcels distribution or Parcels Fulfillment is required.

Understanding of financial analysis and product management required.

Skill in project management, interpersonal communications, and presentations required.

Computer savvy in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word required.

Experience in sales, sales management, product marketing, and/or Pitney Bowes solutions preferred.

MBA or equivalent preferred.

In-depth knowledge of Pitney Bowes business practices and policies helpful.

Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 3x per year.
