Emdeon is a premier provider to the U.S. pharmacy industry of a secure, reliable and performance oriented network for e-commerce applications. Emdeon provides a number of productivity enhancing services including fast, secure switching of third party claims, eligibility services, and value proven pre- and post- editing, claims reconciliation, resubmission services, electronic prescribing solutions, Medicare/Medicaid DME billing, Medicare Flu billing, Medicare denial management services, and Medicare/Medicaid eligibility verification.
Position Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Designing new software edits, applications, and enhancements.
Create Sales Presentation Materials
Maintain list of Participating Pharmacies
Assist Sales with MSAs and SOWs
Design and Implement new related Products to Pharma market, such as e-Prescribing
Maintain market intelligence on competitors
Maintain market intelligence on Pharma, Brands and opportunities
Review Utilization Reports and provide any related client consultation
Verify Billing/Revenue with clients and programs
Provide review and support of all Additional Revenue that is generated for our Network Services pharmacies.
*All other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements
Experience and Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years experience with the full life cycle of product development.
Health care industry experience a plus
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Delivery focused; comfortable working independently with the ability to work within tight deadlines and complete projects accurately and on time.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
This position involves sitting at a computer terminal for long periods.
Must be able to sit at a computer terminal, read and analyze large lists of data on computer monitors.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This position involves interoffice communication via print, email, and telephone.
