Scope & Knowledge:
Support analysis and evaluation of new business concepts through the Product Lifecycle process with Product Managers.
Works with the Line of Business and the Product Managers to develop product plans and product strategy for their areas which would include implementation, marketing and sales detail; recommendations may include closure, merger and/or restructuring of existing products or new product development.
Leads product lifecycle practice improvements coordinating across Enterprise businesses.
Support overall development, launch, and integration of new products through Launch Readiness Process.
Helps coordinate New Product Dashboards across Enterprise businesses.
Performs related duties, as assigned.
Mentors and coaches product mangers through product lifecycle.
Partners with the line of business and Senior Management to develop product development & product management strategies.
Qualifications
Experience with institutional and retail retirement markets.
Understanding of new product development, marketing, sales & distribution strategies.
Strong relationship management skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze, identify gaps and improve business processes.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
MBA strongly preferred.
5 to 8 years of product development, product management, or related financial services experience.
Series 7 & 63 strongly preferred.
