As a Product Marketing Manager with Diebold, you will be responsible for developing and executing Product Marketing strategies and plans to enable sales channels to articulate the differentiated value proposition for Diebold products and to be successful. You will also be responsible for assessing market needs, and develop market requirement specifications as appropriate.
Some essential functions of this position include:
Develop Product Marketing strategies and plans
Preparation of annual marketing strategy, plans and associated budget recommendations
Develop and execute Product Marketing programs that will articulate the product differentiation and value proposition statements
Develop and consolidate product line requirements to include product and market strategies, product requirements, market assessment, market size, pricing requirements, local standards, legal and regulatory requirements
Develop Market Requirement Specifications and product line/business plans with the appropriate stakeholders (or as a member of solution team where appropriate)
Manage Go-To-Market (cross-functional) Team activities; develop strategy, drive and execute launch plans
Development of knowledge builders for sales associates
Development of sales aids for sales associates including took kits, presentations, bylined and paid articles, and videos and multi-media
Recommend market pricing strategies consistent with competitive knowledge and market acceptance
With Channel Marketing, and DevEd, develop product/solution education plans which will enable our sales teams to develop and articulate solutions strategies to our customers
Participate in the development and planning for industry trade shows
Attend industry-related trade shows as required in order to collect and report on competitive products and offerings, industry trends, and acting in a participative or speaking role where appropriate
Participate in customer presentations as requested
Develop and publish white papers, and position papers on market trends and technology applications within the branch delivery channel
Participate as a contributing member of Concurrent Fulfillment Team (CFT)
Development, organization and maintenance of ""owned"" sections of intranet sites and Diebold.com internet site
Lead Product Marketing sub-teams, and Product Launch teams with cross-functional representation
Develop articles for publication in industry trade journals that correctly position Diebold solutions in the market
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
MBA is a plus
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience marketing to the financial industry, or equivalent experience in product sales to the financial industry
Individual must be intelligent, creative, tenacious, and action oriented
Must possess excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
Must have a highly successful record of results
