DESCRIPTION
The Product Manager-Regulator/Turbine Meters will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Job Responsibilities
Develop strategic positioning of North America product line
Develop marketing plans for product portfolio
Oversee product portfolio and roadmap with regard to strategic positioning in market
Gather market intelligence to develop competitive comparisons for features and pricng and provide input for new features and market specifications to technical product manager.
Responsible for pricing: Distributor pricing, RFP’s, bids, and quotes
Provide strategy for products to sales and distribution
Develop business plans for new features
Annual budgeting of all covered products
Market analysis
Assist the sales team with implementation and execution of sales strategies
Coordinate with our communication division to integrate the metering technologies with the Sensus communication technologies.
Job Requirements:.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
5-10 plus years experience in marketing or business development.
Experience in pressure regulation and turbine meter theory, sizing, and testing preferred.
Basic understanding of measurement and control technologies
Customer interfacing experiencing through direct sales process and/or technical support a plus
Must possess strong management and communication skills/experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to travel. |
