Current Need

As a RelayCare Product Manager, you will be part of a team which is responsible for planning and developing market driven care management and nurse advice workflow products. This position assists the Director of Product Strategy to identify and analyze market problems; develop strategic plans; product roadmaps and market requirements; develop go-to-market strategies; release product updates and launch new products; provide internal and external product consulting and training.

*Manage product release activities and product material numbers

*Coordinate all product release communications with an online software distribution tool, Download Central

*Coordinates with product management team and the rest of the business units to maximize success of RelayCare products

*Manage product enhancement requests and assist with prioritizing the product backlog

*Gather market data from competitor information, prospect/client feedback, and partner research

*Collaborate with marketing team to develop marketing materials, product data sheets, and case studies

*Assist in defining go-to-market strategies

*Review product documentation and support technical writers

*Support the product management SharePoint site

*Conduct win/loss analysis, voice of the customer interviews and customer outreach

*Consult with product management and development teams to assure that requirements are clear and achievable

*Manage customer facing activities that include customer newsletter, customer portal, regional customer events, and manage customer information in SalesForce.com

*Survey management support for RelayCare business unit

Position Description

Responsible for the development for specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Develops business plans and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product lines(s).

Minimum Requirements

Entry level experience in product marketing

Additional Knowledge & Skills

This position works directly with customers; must be customer-centric, have excellent communication skills, a positive image, and exhibit sound judgment.

The position also works internally across the business unit, need to be a team-worker and have the initiative to be a self-starter on projects, able to troubleshoot problems and make decisions - or at least gather relevant data to escalate for appropriate decision-making.

The person in this position needs to have knowledge about basic product management functions, product marketing, survey management, and have strong customer service skills. They need to manage projects, think independently, and multi-task effectively.

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Ability to follow the healthcare industry, network, and quickly learn new and changing technologies. Pro-active involvement with educational and training activities.

Knowledge of productivity and survey tools including SharePoint, SalesForce, VersionOne, StarTeam, Zoomerang, and Cvent is a plus.

Education

4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience

Certifications/Licensure

Although not required, professionals who are Pragmatic Marketing Certified would be desirable.
