Job Description

Summary of Position
The incumbent will be responsible for recommending, developing and coordinating implementation of plans and programs for Savient product line(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Execute tactical plan for the brand against marketing strategies
Manage key marketing programs
Assist in development of annual marketing plan and strategic planning
Develop relationships with key rheumatology thought leaders
Generate ROI assessments of the brands marketing initiatives
Participate in various market research activities
Provide support to the field sales force regarding product marketing requests and initiatives
Develop competitive market assessments
Participate in sales training events supporting the brand
Assist in product portfolio analysis

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements
BS/BA degree plus Masters Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred
4 - 6 Years experience marketing healthcare products required
Experience with pharmaceutical product launches preferred
Experience in the rheumatology, nephrology markets is desired
Travel approximately 10 - 20%
