Product Manager - Uniform and Law PPE

Job Description
LION has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Product Development group at our corporate headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.

Manage and support product offerings that are part of the uniform and law PPE product portfolios. Manage feedback from sales, marketing, development, customers and prospects to lead the execution on new features and products. Lead strategic plan, roadmap, product positioning, and product definition.

Responsibilities include:

Manages the process for implementation of development projects for new concepts, new products and revisions to existing products. This includes but is not limited to; market research, tech pack creation, sample generation and approvals, etc.
Monitors market and customer needs and technology trends to provide existing product enhancements and new product introductions.
Develops understanding of product line, facilitating interaction with key areas of the company, learning the needs of the sales team, customers and prospects.
Manages the various development projects with manufacturing facilities and manage the timeline to market.
Communicates timelines and status of various development projects.
Develop tools and information required to support efforts to increase sales
Identifies and manages relations with partners, suppliers, and other key vendors
Interfaces with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful delivery and launch of products and branding initiatives.
Ensures product specifications meet standards and quality requirements and are understood by manufacturing facilities.
Communicates the product benefits and features. Facilitates product training.
Ensures Customer Support has the tools necessary to provide adequate service to customers to eliminate the need for intervention into customer service issues.
Participates in a team to determining product offerings, price positioning and ensure appropriate support processes are in place.

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

Bachelor's degree (BS)
Experience in product management and establishing product requirements.
Excellent project management skills and teamwork skills
Ability to assess market requirements, investigate new technologies, develop recommendations for product direction and establish plans and strategies.
Strong business acumen
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in and influence cross-functional groups.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize time
