Job description
The Product Manager will be responsible to manage the creation, execution, and driving of marketing and sales activities designed to promote the sales of Atlas Copco QAT products (STwrench, STanalyser, Joint Simulator Bench product line, QAT analysis, QAT production and QAT torque management software products) across the US.
Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
o Maintain expert status on all Atlas Copco QAT Products
o Maintain expert status on all Competitor QAT Products
o Market analysis including regular updates to Marketing and Sales on Competitor QAT products
o Development and management of the US QAT List Price
o Assist Service on any necessary after the sale"" tech support issues
o Business plan development for the product line
o Professional launch of new products to the sales force
o Development of sales techniques for product line
o Development of marketing material and sales presentations
o Customer visits to promote the product lines
o Technical sales support of Atlas Copco and distributor salespeople in their sales and marketing activities
o Development of training material for the sales force
o Conduct necessary training for sales & customers
o Communication of R&D needs from the US Customer Center to Product Company

Job Requirements
Experience requirements
Previous leadership experience
Ability to technically define problems, collect data, establish facts and effectively resolve problems
Excellent communication, interactive, computer and presentation skills are required
Should have a high degree of mechanical and technical aptitude
Software installation and support experience highly valued
Knowledge
Extensive Torque theory and fastening knowledge
Extensive understanding of threaded fastener applications and how these are managed / supported in a production environment
Educational requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university required
Personality requirements
Excellent communicator at all levels
Commitment to teamwork
Must be a self starter
Ability to interface with all levels of personnel within customer base and Atlas Copco internal departments
Ability to educate, inter-face, influence and make presentations to internal and external customers
Ability to interact professionally and effectively in a team environment; strong influencing skills
