Rexam Containers is a leader in providing high quality thermoformed monolayer and multi-layer plastics packaging to the food industry. Due to continued growth in our Union, Missouri operation, we are seeking a Production Manager.
Production Manager position has primary responsibilities for overseeing production personnel, equipment, materials and capital in the performance. This includes coordinating the repair processes with engineers and customers, managing the scheduling of production lines, providing ownership with job costing, and answering questions regarding projects from customers, employees, etc. Production Manager works directly with customers, discussing technical information and following up on requests for information. The position also has responsibilities for prompt and courteous attention to customer requests, interacting with employees and oversight of company safety program.
Requirements
Must be self-motivated, have a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of experience, possess good management, job costing, communication skills. Knowledge of Lean Tools is a plus. Minimal travel required. Position reports to Director of Operations. |
