Job Requirements
Manage assigned customer accounts
Communication / Contract Review / Order Entry / Expediting
Review open order reports and regularly communicate order status with customers.
Advise customers well in advance should a delay be anticipated.
Establish factory schedules to meet demand while balancing capacity
Manage schedules / expedite to ensure commitments are met
Communicate and work with both manufacturing personnel as well as suppliers to ensure product flows through as planned
Meet established inventory turn guidelines
Support Capacity Manager in obtaining quotations / coordinating with suppliers / compiling and publishing reports as needed
Additional clerical duties and other duties as assigned
Work Experience
Production planning and expediting experience [3 years]
Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment [3 years]
Experience working with customer computer portals
Experience working with suppliers
Familiar with manufacturing routings and work order processes
Experience in inventory management and replenishment systems
Trouble shooting and problem resolution
Shipping / Receiving functions
