POSITION INFORMATION:
Job/Position Summary:
Provides direction of the daily activities to the workforce.
Maintain a safe work environment, free of harassment.
Coach and counsel employees on standard operating practices and ""best practices"" for increased performance.
Coordinate and evaluate the training of new employees in their job requirements.
Monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are being met or exceeded
Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure production schedule is met.
Coordinate all necessary repairs with the maintenance department to maintain operations.
Schedule work as necessary to meet production schedule.
Implement Labor Agreement, corporate policies, and good housekeeping standards

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma
At least two (2) years experience utilizing leadership skills in a high production environment in a supervisory capacity.
Effective oral and written communication, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work overtime, weekends, and shift work as required.
Computer (Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) skills
Problem solving abilities and excellent organizational skills
Ability to take initiative, provide leadership, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications:
B.S. in Business/Management or Engineering/Technical Field
Five (5) years experience in metal processing (Casting, Rolling, Coating, or Finishing) or union manufacturing facility.
Date Position Available: Immediately
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Special Instructions:
The successful candidate must pass a drug screen as well as undergo a background screen which includes, but is not limited to, criminal, employment, and education verifications.
