| Job Description | Key Elements & Responsibilities: Colfor Mfg., Inc. is a leader in the engineering, design and manufacturing of cold, warm and precision machined forgings for trucks, sport utility vehicles and passenger cars. Currently, this TS-16949 and ISO-14001 registered OEM supplier has an employment opportunity for a Production Supervisor in our Ohio facility.
Qualified candidates must possess a degree, preferably technical, with a minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (forging experience preferred). Prior management experience in a union environment is a plus. Job duties include establishing and maintaining good housekeeping and safe work practices, supervising bargaining unit associates in the completion of their daily production tasks, assisting with the training of these associates and insuring they achieve their daily production goals. The candidate must posses the ability to troubleshoot production problems and determine the cause(s) and use corrective actions in meeting the production goals.
