The successful candidate will lead manufacturing operations, including the coordination of delivery and cost activities for the assigned department or shift to meet department schedules and targets. You will improve systems utilized to achieve department plant goals, support and maintain a safe and secure workplace for the assigned department or shift, and contribute to long-term planning and development.


Lead manufacturing operations, including meeting production targets, ensuring quality standards are met, and resolving production problems

Lead and support Lean, Continuous Improvement and 6S activities

Participate as a member of Production Supervisor Team

Establish departmental goals, targets and objectives

Select and train team members to meet production and quality standards, ISO compliance and delivery schedules

Monitor department budget, spending and labor expenses

Ensure a safe and environmentally friendly work environment


Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Technology preferred.


At least three years supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment, including scheduling, workflow, and independent decision making in a multiple shift operation

Experience leading Lean, Continuous Improvement and 6S Initiatives

SAP or other Tier 1 ERP system preferred

Experience with SPC


Demonstrated skills in Lean, Continuous Improvement and 6S techniques

Excellent leadership and facilitation skills

Must be able to think on your feet to solve problems and meet schedules

Ability to effectively lead change

Team building skills

Strong oral and written communication skills

Excellent independent judgment and decision making skills

Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Presentation skills very helpful
