Clairon Metals Corporation has an immediate opening for an experienced Program Manager in the metal stamping industry.

Clairon Metals is an ISO-certified metal-stamping company that manufactures metal parts, weldments, and assemblies for a variety of customers in a number of different industries.

We have been in business for more than 20 years and we have over 100 employees who are dedicated to providing: tool design and tool building; short-, medium- and long-run metal stampings; resistance welding; robotic Mig welding; assembly; prototyping; and engineering services.

The role of a Program Manager is to be the liaison between the customer and the company to ensure the successful launch of new parts from concept to production.

Primary Responsibilities include:

? Managing and tracking the many steps required for the initial launch of new products, including securing the tool source, raw material and purchased component supplies, and constantly communicating our progress and any issues to customer and/or launch team.

? Leading design review meetings to hit cost and quality targets.

? Managing all required documentation for ISO systems.

? Driving periodic launch update meetings to manage progress, resolve issues, and to ensure target dates are met.

? Overseeing the trial-run of the job prior to production start-up.

? Reviewing final PPAP, approving, and sending to customer for approval.

? Providing up-front design and sales support.

? Reviewing quotes for assigned customers related to changes during launch.

? All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Entry Requirements

? Education – Four-year degree preferred; however, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

? Experience – Minimum of 3 -5 years of similar experience. Must be knowledgeable of the metal stamping process and business. Project management capabilities and experience essential.

? Skills – Exceptional organizational and customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Good math skills required to calculate material usage, part quoting, production rates, etc. Ability to use measuring devices to check and verify good parts to compare to customer specifications. Must be able to interpret customer prints and specifications.
