You are a smart, well-rounded FPGA design engineer with a can do attitude and a drive to learn new things. You are excited to work in all phases of the system life cycle, including requirements development, design, implementation, integration, and test of programmable logic. You bring your experience with design, development and simulation of FPGA code including Verilog and/or System Verilog hardware description languages. Your responsibilities will include developing FPGA Verilog Code for Altera and/or other FPGAs, developing test benches for simulating and verifying designs, defining and developing hardware/software interfaces, writing design and interface documentation, and providing lab support and troubleshooting of programmable logic designs. Requirements
•2+ years’ experience in programmable logic design
•Experience with FPGA design and simulation methods using Verilog, and/or System Verilog hardware description language
•Experience with ModelSim or equivalent simulation tool for design verification
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
•US government position. US citizenship required.
•Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferences
•Experience with digital design involving signal processing on FPGAs
•Hardware testing and troubleshooting with equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
•Digital communications experience or academic background
