Our engineering team will play a critical strategic role in planning and executing projects of varying commitments between $1 and $10M in any of our facilities around the globe including Asia, Europe, and North America. Project scopes can range from upgrading major assets to building new lines or processes to building new plants. Focused efforts will be to ensure sustainability of manufacturing effectiveness while expanding capacity and capability.

Our engineers have the opportunity to work closely with all levels in our organization, including ABP global manufacturing leaders, Innovation resources, plant and operations staff, and outside suppliers. ABP enjoys world class safety performance, and the safety processes are integrated into each project team and each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in executing capital projects per agreed cost, schedule, and performance.

Apply Precision Maintenance concepts and principles to all work performed.

Actively participate as a member of a multifunctional project team executing a variety of capital projects from concept to asset installation and start-up.

Investigate problems with the process and equipment and then recommending corrective action to be taken. This includes consulting with production personnel, analyzing the supporting data, recommending corrective action, and following through on recommendations to evaluate their effectiveness.

Specify equipment, work with vendors, and design, procure and install assets to build new production lines within existing facilities or new facilities

Participate in Lean events to drive rapid process improvements

Work closely with a senior engineer to learn the technology of ceiling making and develop career potential for growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding business environment

This position will require up to 50% travel depending on the scope and phases of the projects

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Minimum of 3 years direct experience with project planning and execution

Proven ability to communicate and integrate well across organizational functions/units

Demonstrated presentation and technical skills, and hands on installation and construction skills

Enjoys travel to local and international locations

Lean or other process improvement experience is desired
