The Project Engineer will work on programs for bumper, fascia, and trim work, for our customers, executing and coordinating engineering changes, design issues, launch issues, and interface with our customers. You will work in a team setting, helping support managing products of a particular program from the initial concept to mass production. Some travel is involved, locally, to visit customers for product management, meetings, and other support activities.

The qualified candidate will have:
•At least 2 years previous experience, as a Project Engineer, in an automotive environment, preferably with an OEM or tier supplier.
•A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent experience
•Experience with injection molding, manufacturing processes, part design, blueprint reading, cost estimating, GD&T, CAD design, and knowledge of the APQP and TS 16949 processes.
•The ability to work in a team, or as an individual, to further positively the goals of the department.
•Interact professionally and pro-actively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
•Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Knowledge of the MS Office Suite is preferred
•Strong organizational skills, time management, knowledge of when to elevate and address concerns.
•The ability to travel, with or without accommodation.
•Preferably at least two to five years' previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment working on bumper, trim, headlight, and/or fascia programs, with positive results.
